how hot is too hot for an outdoor shoot?

assuming the gear handles it, its 100f outside right now. is that ok to shoot in for 3 or 4 hours with mostly shade? am i being a soft little bitch to even worry about this or can i die

don't mess around, especially if you aren't acclimated to high temperatures. i'm moderately acclimated to heat. i shot for about 6 hours in 90-103 last month. drank like 3 liters of water (not enough) and ended the day with a headache. i'd suggest starting with a few minutes in the heat and gradually working your way up to a few hours

if you have a big enough umbrella and drink water heat won't bother you unless you're in bad health
