I think OP is gud enough. Shitty cameras can be coped with, in many ways. I can teach you any of them. The simplest is "ok, put the camera away" because they just can't handle certain lighting unless you want to crush the blacks or mush half the picture. Not even at base ISO. And shitty cameras really show their shittiness the most when you're just having fun instead of overanalyzing gear settings and tech specs, and you DONT want the contrasty look.
Shitty cameras are the most fun when you do.
