For studio portraits all you have to buy right now as a beginner are lights, backgrounds, maybe some props. You will be shooting closed down anyways so there is not point at getting a dedicated portrait lens that will be put at f/4 or f/8 anyway.
If you are talking about taking photos outside, then you just need to learn how to work with the light you have and maybe get the Canon's nifty fifty to have more flexibility regarding the DoF. Perhaps get a little godox flash if your camera doesn't have a built-in one.

In any case you should absolutely learn how to color grade, so I would say buy cheap lights and spend the money on a used professional 10bit calibrated monitor. There is literally no point in getting all this professional gear and wanting to look professional and then the moment you sit down at your computer you are looking at a monitor which might as well look like a smartphone from 13 years ago.
