I don't think so. It's printed on the box, not the film or the cannister. The reason it is not on the film is that kodak (and every other film manufacturer) sells film that is years old as "fresh" so long as it passes testing. Probably if you knew their internal scheme you could decipher the codes but I don't think that's public. The cannisters are printed ahead of time so they don't know what film will go in what cannister until they load it.
