>>4475688Full manual isn’t torture but literally any other mode is for me. Manual is literally aperture priority, shutter priority and ISO priority all in one all the time. It’s only torture because you don’t know, I assume, how to decide which setting to change to increase or decrease the amount of light you get. Priority modes simplify your decision making. Program mode is when you decide before the fact what settings to use in certain lighting.
Honestly, manual just werkz. If I want to prioritise shutter speed, I can do that; if I want to prioritise aperture, I can do that. Just stop adjusting the wrong setting.
What I actually can’t decide on as my go-to is my focus mode: MF, AF-S or AF-C; centre point or 11-point? (I have an old DSLR). I think I need to go back to manual focussing for now, at least while I still have this camera. The AF on the K10D can lock on but still look very soft after the fact. I’m not sure if it needs an adjustment. I’ll need a cardboard thingo for that. Anyway, manual mode just werkz.
