>>4491811>grainDigital is not grain.
>>4491809On an R6 (im guessing MkII) you can use up to ISO 3200 and it still look pretty good. Even 6400 is palatable with the right amount of downsampling and proper chroma NR. Above that you'll likely struggle for good looking images but don't cop out just to end up underexposing everything.
Think of ISO like film ISO; nobody gave a shit about fine grained ISO 100 film if it's nothing but underexposed shit. You shot Delta 3200 and you put up with the grain.
This is one of those cases where I wish /p/ still had exif.
For example:
>>4491805The shutter speed was too low causing camera shake (and also possibly subject movement).
The F/stop was too low causing half the face and most of the person to be out of focus.
The exposure is too low causing everything to look flat and grey.
All to save what... a bit of ISO noise? Nah fuck that. I'm guessing you shot this at 1/80th, f/2, ISO 400.
Also, the framing looks a bit tight as her hands and arms are cut ouf of the frame.
Anyway, I'm not going to shit on you because there's no point. I'd rather you take the criticisim as just that, and not an attack on your character. See if you can edit some of what you've got to a better level, and next time you go out just try to do better.
There's enough fags otb that'll just call you shit and I ain't one of them.
