Is the Lumix S9 the first camera aside from Fujifilm's amazing X range where you don't even need to edit your digital photos anymore?

Kodak already solved it in 1935.

Being better than sony at jpeg colors is not a high bar to pass. Most of these brands that market themselves as jpeg machines dont even have great color, they just label very mediocre filters every camera already had as film sims and turn the intensity down by default.

Fuji and Lumix are also the two worst brands for working autofocus and solid build quality

its shit at being a camera. panasonic made this parts bin camera (repackaged sigma fp) as a cheap cash grab. 0 r&d money went into this. zero thought, zero love. the s9 product run is pure profit. its not meant to be a good camera. its a business move.

panasonic out snoyed snoy in this respect but at least snoy’s AF works and comes with a lens catalog that isnt just overpriced oversized mediocre shit and sigma

id get a canon r8 instead
asian plastic rectangles are feminine fashion items. utilitarian blobs pair better with mens fashion second only to a real leica (not a knockoff leica). also i think if fashion and lifestyle factors into it vintage film cameras still reign supreme. people like waiting for photos, unironically.

Why and how are these people satisfied with images that have the same feeling and why would they not want to work just a little bit more to make the images to look even little bit better? Less than 2 out of 100 camera shoppers fall for this scam brand
50-60 buy a canon (canon shoot jpeg)
20-30 buy a snoy because they need AIds
<10 fall for the fuji scam and often UPGRADE to a DSLR (fuji is that bad)
And basically noone buys mft outside of asia and the poorer european countries

Nah I agree. The less stuff to fuck with on the spot, the more time I get to focus on what I'm actually doing. Unless photography is the sole reason for you to do things, the edit-later mantra is decently useful.
