The zr is not a sign of a consumer/hobby photography trend. It is a copy of the sony fx series video body. There is no shutter and viewfinder having version to come.
Japan HATES you if you think hobby photographers deserve good small full frame kit like they had before DSLRs. To them, it is insulting. It’s like a rice farmer saying he deserves all three swords meant for a samurai. It is like a catholic buying a shinto shrine and turning it into a lunch cafe. They genuinely despise what you want. They will only do the bare minimum to take your money and leave you disappointed so you either get into pro gear and justify the absurd expense and bulk by being a pro (or look as stupid as they think you are!) or downgrade to the disposable crop sensor shitter they think you deserve.
The fact that the a7c line exists at all is a miracle… and they hobble it with arbitrarily worse points than the aps-c cameras because again, if you think hobbyists and casuals deserve to use full frame on the daily, they hate you as much as they hate the idea of a farmer peasant using a famous katana to chop wheat.
Their culture is based entirely on disdain and hatred creating submission and apologetics socially and pure hedonism sexually. The japanese… are not good people.
