It's great they're pushing Jevon and Oba as the next big thing (WWE is getting a clue that funny relatable niggas like speed and kai is the future of entertainment) but as of now the main event scene is being held by people past the age of 40 or nearing 40 and the midcard scene are just NXT-adjacent alum haitched used for smark baiting. They can't really tell a story without talent who can work a character and I think it is also a generation thing where younger talent have a harder time to get over knowing they grew up playing video games and indoors and if they ever played sports, it's not the pick up ball in brooklyn where guts and street trash talk culture is prevalent but AAU ball where upper middle class families can only afford to send their kids and these kids grew up screaming nigger and hitler jokes as kids on vc.
