you usually don't skeet shoot with a sling. you can shoot skeet with a semi auto but semis are more popular for duck hunting where you're sitting the whole time, they paint duck guns those gay corrosion because the paint is corrosion resistant and it's common for people to have separate duck/geese guns because duck/geese/water fowl are large high flying birds and you can't shoot lead shot at them due to federal law so people need either 10 gauge or 3.5 inch magnum, though it's less of a thing now due to tss rounds
