>>19807925I'm convinced that HHH changed his big plans for Bron. It was obvious that he was being positioned for a main event spot, even when Seth was still leading the Vision. It was then obvious that they wanted to streamline Bron's main event push after Seth got injured and Punk got speared and pinned at War Games.
I think HHH, Punk, and a number of other powerful people in the company came to the conclusion that Bron wasn't ready after the "la-dee-da" promo, and then the one where he implied that he'd steal AJ away. If I'm wrong and they were still on the fence after these promos, the frankensteiner botch in the underwhelming title match did Bron in. They immediately booked him to be pulled off TV with his suspension for attacking Pearce and Punk abruptly began his feud with eternal jobber Finn Manlet. Bron Breakker and the Vision went from being the focal point to an afterthought on the show overnight. This lack of continuity only makes sense if plans suddenly changed. It's entirely possible that Bron was originally planned to win the Rumble before HHH & Punk decided against it. The irony is that they ultimately decided to have Roman win it, the guy who was prematurely pushed to the moon by Vince in spite of all of his glaring limitations in the ring and on the mic at the time. I think they should have done the same with Bron. HHH still hasn't created a single star and it doesn't look like he knows how.
