Kek, this narrative is ridiculous. Hogan was in California, TDS central, not that long after he had appeared at the GOP to endorse Trump. TDS lunatics were still pissed about it, so a section of the crowd tried to make the show about them and booed Hogan when he came out.

The entire crowd was initially cheering when Hogan's music hit and he came out, but then when it was clear Hogan 1) would not come down to the ring but instead would stay on the ramp, and 2) he started to shill his beer, THAT is when the crowd started booing. And even THEN the boos were never as loud as you're implying.
