she was the favorite for the rumble, and was obviously going to beat jade and save smackdown. this opens up a world of possibilities.
the only women jade has stories with are bianca, naomi and tiffany, and to a lesser extent nia and chelsea. tiffany’s the only one of those i could see winning now, smarks would be furious though. and nobody really wants to see tiffany vs jade round 5 or whatever.
they could always pull out the rhea card, but she’d either have to job to jade or be sentenced to smackdown, both of which HHH probably wants to avoid.
maybe IYO as the wild card, just to get the best match possible. plus if he’s not interested in actually progressing kabuki theatre, let her run smackdown for a while, why not?
he could go for the funniest booking decision of all time - they’ve been teasing an eventual jade/charles match… maybe that’s at mania after charles wins rumble #3.
