There's nothing left for him to do in WWE, plus he's already been working a part timer schedule for the past 5 years. He wrestles like 5 matches a year at most. All he ever does is come out and cut the same promo, has his long ass entrances wandering to the ring, and his matches are nothing but rest holds leading up to his signature moves.
It's been demonstrably proven fans don't tune into for Roman Reigns. Ratings don't increase for episodes he's on vs episodes he's not. You could have put literally anyone in Roman's spot, pushed him as strong as they pushed Roman, and he'd be the biggest star in WWE. There's nothing special about him, he's just been propped up for years by the company. It's not like he was a breakout star like Steve Austin that the fans demanded to see more of.
