“Multiple Women in WWE Are Ready to Walk”

No.17072330 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
>Naomi vs Liv Morgan was planned for Smackdown tonight but bumped to accommodate the return of The Rock.
>Things like this happen fairly often, but this appears to be the last straw for a lot of women in the WWE. Earlier this week, a hashtag appeared on X calling for the WWE to treat their women better. This received a massive amount of support from women in the WWE, getting likes from talent such as Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, Chelsea Green and Mia Yim.
>Right now, a lot of women are noticeably frustrated with their place in the WWE. One woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told us that she feels she’s “being booked to lose every match”, despite being assured that’s she was a major part of 2025 booking plans. Another woman told us jokingly that she’s been updating her resume since it became obvious that HHH “didn’t see much in women”.
>Making matters worse is the recent influx of talent from AEW taking up additional TV time. Some believe that these new stars, such as Penta and Ricky Saints, have yet to prove their value to WWE. While, in retrospect, some women have kept WWE afloat during the lean years in the past and have “been good soldiers” for the WWE.
>One final headache for WWE is the status of Jade Cargill. Despite coming into the WWE with a massive amount of fanfare, Jade has done very little of note lately. Jade has disappeared from TV with an injury angle, although she herself is not actually injured in any way. Jade recently posted on X that she “misses being That Bitch”, which appears to be a direct reference to her time in AEW, where she was a dominant champion and appeared regularly on TV and PPV. Jade has also been pretty vocal about still being in contact with AEW talent, at one point telling everyone that she would “love to wrestle Statlander or Shida again at Daily’s Place”.
