UFC is notorious for not paying its fighters and WWE wrestlers are paid less than pretty much any other "professional athlete" or regularly on weekly television, particularly the latter where TV contracts can get pretty huge (just look at The Simpsons cast and their retarded contracts).
The WWE absolutely prints money and its talent gets paid probably less than 10% of what it generates overall which is pretty insane when you think about it.
It's because wrestling has no free agency, no collective bargaining, no union representation for its talent whatsoever. There's no Screen Actor's Guild, no potential for striking, so they legitimately get treated like shit.
The best chance someone has of turning that around is actually being an outsider with clout coming in, someone like Logan Paul who would have nothing to lose in organizing the talent into a union (what're they going to do, fire him? He makes almost as much money without them)
