>>10451754Colby is moving through the halls before she stops to think at all about what she's going to do.
Back to the apartment? Maybe. That's a safe choice; it'd give her some time to sort things out.
But in a swimsuit? Is she going to walk back to her (locked) apartment barefoot in a swimsuit? Her phone, her glasses, her purse (with the keys to her apartment, and her money and cards), and all her clothes and things are in Amy's room.
In Amy's room.
Well, there's no way around THAT, is there? It seemed obvious what was about to happen between Sapphire and Amy. Maybe it'd be happening in Sapphire's room instead. But if it wasn't, then what? Quietly grab her things and slip out? Casually make small talk like she's not about to crawl out of her own skin, and excuse herself for a quick shower before getting dressed?
..... Take off this swimsuit and ask to join them?
One thing's for sure, other than going and hiding in a random empty bedroom to see what happens when she wakes up, there's no way forward that does not involve going into that room.
Colby grasps the doorknob, takes a deep breath, and enters Amy's room.
