Letting the window lapse only works against WBD and the fact they allowed it to happen signals their disinterest in renewing AEW. It's not like the NBA situation where the window lapsed because negotiations were so tough they took forever. There is no new deal for AEW, there isn't even an outline of a new deal, and this meeting in Paris is so Tina can have "conversations" about a new deal but it isn't even guaranteed that it'll yield anything. The likelihood of AEW being cancelled is about 95% at this point I'm afraid.
