Once more, Shogun arises to a WWA that just doesn't feel quite right. The rabbit has forsaken her sense of justice. Holly blames herself, and ONLY herself for her defeat. Onigiri's trip to the store has taken much longer than she had expected. The only thing Priscilla Divine sees her worthy of battling after standing her ground is Lightning Nika. She saw tears in Skelly's eyes from the death and disappointment.
Both submissions she attempted to break a second too late. Every Wheel of Fortune attempted, dodged and reversed. Meanwhile, her oni partner raged war, finisher after finisher, and it took the leader of the Angels to bring her down. Shogun lost to their CHEERLEADER.
She came to one conclusion, and prayed:
>O, divine kami, I apologize for my failures as of recent in the ring. But of course I apologize for my ignorance to onikind.>Surely you see the wickedness of the Divine Angels, do you not? Do they not take more precedent than my atonement?>Is restoring Yuki-hime to her old self the missing piece? Or is it Onigiri deserving more respect? I did used to think of her as a lazy troublemaker...>I apologize for the delay. There is only so much one can do when dealing with Spaghetti Town Airlines' awful booking, and Onigiri ran off before I could apologize.>I promise I will give that girl the respect she deserves. She was a hero. I know now the good that onis are capable of. The way she fought for me...it was noble.>And if I can reach out to Daimaou's heart and mend the gap between her and her sister, then my debt is paid. With light tears streaming down her face, Shogun continues to plead:
>I understand now! So please...PLEASE! Grant me an opportunity! Am I to have no strength, no protection until these deeds are done?!>Give me one match, and may the result be your answer!Finishing her prayer, she gets up off her knees and looks at a nearby screen.
>>10030423>...I am heard once more. Kami be praised.>Yes, this will do nicely.
