>After stating that this is Ibushi's first interview with the publication in 4 years, they talk about his time with NJPW, and how he thought being full-time with them would help him make wrestling more popular. Unfortunately, lots of things happened, that he can't talk about.
>Moving on to his shoulder injury, he states he's currently at 90%. He once again makes a point about the difference between 完治 and 全治 (the first being when an injury doesn't hinder you anymore, the latter when it's absolutely completely healed to where you were before)
>Inoue (the interviewer) expresses concern about Ibushi having his return match soon, as Ibushi says he wouldn't be able to do it right now, but in a month he will be able to. But Ibushi is adamant he can do it, for the fans, for himself. They quote his old catchphrase.
>They talk briefly about the mental and physical stress and Ibushi taking care if his mother on top of doing rehab and everything else. Ibushi makes it clear he is totally fine mentally, and that the real issue was/is always the injury.
>Moving on to Bloodsport, Ibushi says he first met Josh Barnett at the end of December, and was approached by him to have his debut match for them. That Barnett is a real wrestling nerd and a fan of Ibushi's.
>He finds it hard to explain why he won't have his return match in Japan, but explains that he achieved everything he could with NJPW, and that when he dislocated his shoulder, in a good and a bad sense, his Japanese wrestling had come to an end (for the time being).
>He goes on to say that his return match could have been anywhere, with Kenny in AEW or someplace else, but that he didn't think he would get that many offers from so many places/promotions.
>They talk about RIZIN and how Ibushi thought getting an offer from them was a real chance for a pro wrestler like him. He really wants to fight (Manny) Pacquiao of he can, a point he's made several times now.
