Since the 2007-08 Strike there's been a huge spike in physical media, there are new platforms and services not to mention means of consumption.
So how exactly is the sports entertainment industry supposed to get a raise now when the field of competition for viewers is even bigger than it was 16 years ago?
And my bets would be on game shows like Jeopardy and the Wheel getting a paycheck before sports entertainment as they have a lower production cost and larger viewership than a traveling circus.
