Late, late at night, a video was uploaded to all of the WWA's social media accounts. A single hastily-made video, uploaded with the simple name 'duna.avi', as if it had been forced to be uploaded in a hurry, with no time to give it a flashier or more interesting name.
The video was nothing special, just a wide shot of the sea at night. What was interesting was the voice that could be heard from behind the phone that had recorded the video. A familiar voice, but one that had been stripped of its usual bravado and attitude. A voice that faltered at times, lacking its usual strength, its usual intensity. It was quiet, just enough to be heard over the sound of the gentle waves lapping at the shore.
>"Bishamonta."
>"I want you to listen to me, and I want you to listen close."
>"This isn't Duna Sands the goddamn Queen of the Beach that's speaking to you. This isn't goddamn Hurricane Duna come to blow you away."
>"No. No. This is Duna Sands, the woman. This is Duna Sands, the wrestler."
>"When I challenged you for our final, FINAL match at Clash in the Kingdom, it was because I wanted to beat you on the biggest stage possible. I wanted to break you and humiliate you in front of as many people as possible."
>"I wanted the world to see me settle things between us once and for all."
>"But no. No. You refused me. You humiliated me by turning down my challenge in front of the entire Onsen a Lifetime audience. And I...I'm not a woman who deals with humiliation well."
>"But fine. Fine. You're right. There's no need to wait. Nah. There's no reason for me and you to drag this out any further."
