I believe...that Joe Hendry should never sign with a big promotion. AEW would fumble him hard, and WWE would warp him beyond belief. Even with this surge of notoriety, Hendry should stay as the local hero and rake in dimes from the indies.
He's best off using this gimmick as long as possible on the indies until someone comes and gives him a mark contract of appropriate size (oh who are we kidding, it'll be AEW).
On a bigger stage, he can't do the parody shit due to copyright, and both AEW or WWE will fuck him up in every other metric. He'd be dead in the water as soon as he gets signed, so he should use this fame to get big bucks on the indy circuit.
