>>6670000listen kid, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. strong shadows are a sign of a single light source, aka ps2 era tech. it's not realistic either. look at this random tv capture. the shadows are very faint. why? because in reality you've got light coming from everywhere in the arena including a rather comprehensive lighting rig set up to minimise shadows, rather than a single direction. the closer a game approximates this (multiple light sources, etc), the less striking the shadows are going to be.
