The shows always felt like a summer BBQ party and they never directly disrespected the fans on purpose.
Even the biggest heels in the company, the NWO, always treated their fans like they were part of the cool kid clique.
This extended to the women who always had a kind of fitness-model aura about them and although they showed a lot of skin they rarely acted overtly "slutty". They had an innocence and classiness about them, with the notable exception of Major Gunns, but she was pretty much a cartoon character. And later Miss Hancock, which imo felt out of place on WCW television.
