I was taking the elevator at the Palms from my room to the lobby and when the door opened he and his handler were standing waiting to board. He looks like shit. I don't say that to be mean, he genuinely looks like he could drop dead at any second.
I was there for the entirety of the first meeto. One of the last to leave the room. There was a second one after the Vs. show but I only stayed long enough to meet Maki. She wasn't at the first one because she had to go to another show.
The venue was way too small. Not their fault, but that part sucked. The touching and selfie rules were completely ignored by the players themselves. Most of the players stayed until the room cleared out. About half the roster was there for two and a half hours which was awesome. I think they ended up making a lot of money.
BRING CASH. The PayPal thing kind of worked but cash is 100 times easier.
I think Arai had the biggest line. Wakana, Miu, and Rika stood out to me as the friendliest, but everyone was really cool. I ended up dropping about $1,100 between the Teej meeto and Wrestlecon. Autograph/selfie combo was $30 per person. They brought a shit load of portraits this time so nobody ran out as far as I know. I tried to buy a shirt and/or other merch if they had them available. Anyone who didn't have extra merch I had them sign my program instead. Wanted to get something from everyone. Didn't get a Miyu shirt, she was sold out by the time I got around to her which was disappointing.
I didn't know if the shirts were going to be American or Japanese sized. I asked Shino, but she didn't seem to understand what I was trying to say. I ended up getting all larges as not to complicate things. Ended up with about half and half American/Japan printed shirts. The American Ls aren't going to fit me so I guess I'll have to try to shrink them in the wash or something.
