Always the lesser wrestler in all his good matches. And as far is "re-inventing" himself, he's played one character since WCW. Use a bunch of catch phrases and then spend the next year yelling the ones that caught on.
He's a good hand when working with a decent booker, but nowhere near the GOAT.
With the amount of freedom given to him in AEW he's been nothing but a detriment. Maybe he was good in 2019, I didn't start watching AEW until 2020. He's helped no one get over or develop. MJF had to get away from him to start doing good work. Sammy has been tied to Jericho for years and he's AEW's worst in ring performers despite getting a ton of ring time.
And I hope he sent a check to Glen Osborne for the painmaker gimmick he stole.
