You realize all his lines and promos from 1998-2004 were written for him, right? All his material came from Russo, et al. There's a shoot from Conan O'Brien where he talks about some guy that used to write for him went to WWE and fed Dwayne some of Conan's stupid lines that he'd say backstage.
That's why he's a complete fucking cornball every time he comes back, and he just half-assed runs through his greatest hits and then does some goofy cheerleading shit with the crowd. He sucks dick, and the current writers suck dick, so nothing he does anymore is any good.
