I wonder if that sounds familiar. Roman fills this role. They tried to make Bo Dallas fill this role too when he was first in NXT and eliminated Wade Barrett from the Rumble and before the NXT crowd turned on him and he became a comedy guy. He was a 3 time FCW Heavyweight champion and "everyone" was calling him a future main eventer and the future of WWE but I think Vince dropped him because Roman facemogged him lmao.
