Choshu?) and AJPW/NOAH did plenty of grappling and limbwork (Ogawa anybody? the constant story of Kobashi's knees getting worked?).
American wrestling fans are so tribalistic, it's kind of fucking retarded. It's not and never has been black and white and most Japanese fans talk about puro as a whole rather than talking about a single promotion or a single style -- the style is puro to the Japanese fan.
Leave the console wars where they belong.
