What you hate is your own misspent youth. When you look at someone young, someone with 'zoomer face' as you call it, you're seeing a visual representation of the fact that you are no longer among the young -- you are not yet old but the days of your youth are gone and can never return.
So, obviously, you resent the zoomers and after the zoomers are gone, you'll resent the next generation even more -- and then the one beyond that you'll find entirely incomprehensible.
And then you'll die.
