So the overnight ratings for this week Dynamite are dire. Super dire, even with the factoring in of it being the night before Thanksgiving.
So Tony had a promo filmed this morning with FTR very much last minute and had it added to this afternoon's taped Rampage announcing Daniel Bryan/Dax Harwood for Dynamite, with the plan being to run it as the closing match of the night next Wednesday.
Khan also has contacted Meltzer and basically told him to hype the match up like crazy, as Khan has started to get really pissed off at the situation/perception that the Bucks have created for burying FTR/keeping them off of TV. Tony thinks he can get around the Bucks vetoing FTR appearing on Dynamite by booking solo matches for them, to shut up fans. But he knows fans aren't buying this "half-measure" to keep the Bucks happy and has started privately venting to Dave that he needs to start hyping FTR up. There are even whispers that Dave's been told by Tony he needs to even rig the Wrestling Observer end of year awards to put over FTR BIG as team/match of the year, since Tony is at his wits end dealing with the Bucks bullshit while not actually having the balls to either tell the Bucks to go fuck themselves or cut bait with FTR and deal with their firing further irreversibly crippling an already wounded animal in AEW.
