>>12227304>>12227509So I don't like Shida dropping the belt this quick and without one "real" title defense against a credible challenger and would rather this happen at Worlds End, but here's my take for doing it now and trying to read the lea leaves (while trying my best to put my Toni-mark hat to the side):
>Better to strike while the iron is still hot with Toni's new gimmick>She's clearly the heel in this story and she might be the only credible one in the entire division right now>Shida's probably going to have to take a Makia brake at some point>While she's gone, Toni gets to work a babyface Britt and then probably get a returning Jamie>Britt is going to turn on Jamie at some point and that's probably a big enough feud to get a non-title PPV match, and Shida would probably take the belt back on this show>After this, you start building Shida up again towards the Jamie match at Wembley (because we all know this is the match)I don't know how well this works considering there's going to be more PPVs added, but I don't think Shida's holding this belt until August of next year. That's my attempt at trying to space this out.
