Medfag here.cody's injury seems to be fake.based on his bruise his pectoralis major and minor are definitely strained or maybe torn.maybe his latissimus dorsi is hurt too can't say without and MRI.deltoid muscle seems fine
Now we all know pectoralis major main function is adduction and internal rotation of shoulder.which means Cody shouldn't be able to bring his arm close to his body and most pain free position should be just hanging it beside your body and not even flexing your elbow
Another thing is rotation of forearm.based on his injury he shouldn't be able to tie that rope to his wrist because it involve supination of forearm and again, adduction and internal rotation of shoulder.he should have just tied the rope by bringing his good arm to his bad arm not other way around
Another thing is grabbing the sledge hammer.we clearly see that he is holding the sledge hammer in front of his body by two hands.again it's very unrealistic and physically impossible to pull off in Cody's condition.he should have just used it on handed.
Overall I think his injury is fake and he can safely continue to wrestle
