The world lost Hulk Hogan last week as he passed away in his Florida home. Ric Flair knew Hogan well, and he has an interesting way of looking at things.
Ric Flair is 76-years-old, and he is still spy as ever. While speaking to Ariel Helwani, the Nature Boy was in rare form, making jokes whenever he could. He is still styling and profiling, but he is also aware that we all lost the 71-year-old Hulkster.
While speaking to Helwani, Ric Flair opened up about Hogan’s death. He then stated that he may be next in line. That being said, he doesn’t feel any pain in his body at all, which heightens the anxiety.
>“I’m doing much better, but I had just talked to Jimmy Hart the day before, and I didn’t really speak to Hulk, but everything was fine. I knew that he had health issues, but I thought they were being embellished by that radio disc jokey, Bubba [The Love Sponge]. And I spoke to Jimmy and I thought it was fine.”>“I think that [Hulk Hogan] just got tired. I mean, 11 back operations, hip replacements, now a neck surgery, I mean how much can your body take? I mean, we all put ourselves in ridiculous positions in the business. I’m five years older than Hulk, and I don’t hurt at all. I’ve had serious health issues, but I don’t have an ache of pain in my body. It bothers me, and gives me anxiety that I could be next.”It is important to note that Ric Flair laughed after saying that he may be next. He also stated how great it is to be able to speak about Hulk Hogan’s legacy.
We hope that Ric Flair stays in good health and continues doing his thing wherever he can. He still has other ventures outside of pro wrestling, but it’s anyone’s guess when WWE may call him for another appearance to celebrate The Nature Boy’s career once again.
