I think RVD was meant to hold the belts much longer and help carry the ECW brand but instead he caught the DUI and Edge was given a transitional 2 month reign before Cena got it back and became super Cena for over a year and probably would’ve held it longer if not for his injury.
RVD as champ means no prolonged Super Cena run. RVD was supposed to be the change everyone waited for. instead, it went right back to CENA WINS LOL status quo booking because it was the safe option.
