I took a full break from wrestling around 2008-2013 and didn't really pay attention to TNA at all until 2015 (Billy Corgan era) so the whole TNA Main Event Mafia/Hogan era I wasn't around for. Booker/Kurt was still pretty relevant when I was watching WWE, I guess Nash/Steiner were probably washed by then as their run in WWE pre 06 was awful but Hogan and Sting would still have name value
What was perception of TNA at the time, I am not talking about match quality. I am more curious about were they viewed as a legit alterative, did people think they had the finances and plan to be able to get stars and more importantly keep their stars at home, or was it an obvious house of cards that was going to fall.
Did it compare to WCW competition to WWE at any time (early 90s, late 90s), did it feel more like an outside renegade show like ECW was? How does it it compare to AEW from the past 4 years
