When you tell your audience that nothing has any consequence or weight to it, even if it's completely subconsciously, then they're eventually going to realize oh hey none of this matters. And when that thing is pro wrestling which is fake to begin with then once you break that illusion the entire point goes out the fucking window. There's a reason less and less fans come back for more with each passing year. You can blindly enjoy AEW all you like. Make sure you do while it still lasts
