Most Canadian shit just has that generic sweet caramel taste really, Crown is just a name no better than way cheaper stuff.
Now going totally bottom shelf like Harwood might be slightly rougher, but if you're a pussy who mixes your whisky then again I need to ask why the fuck you'd buy anything other than bottom shelf since there is no difference at that point.
