I never would've thought he'd be better off in WWE previously because I really think he's got a lot of talent in off the cuff promos, the sort of shit you're not allowed to do in WWE where more or less everything is written for you until you're a top top guy or very, very trusted by the guys in the back.
But in-ring Jay's got the best ring psychology in the world, in my opinion. He's the kind of wrestler that wrestlers love, guys like Triple H and Shawn will love him for the subtle parts of his game that are lost on an idiot like Tony Khan who only likes spot monkeys and PWG indie shit.
I think he'd do really well in the current state of WWE. He's over 6', has an incredibly shredded up body, and has charisma. Give him proper booking and he'll soar like an eagle. He's also still young and not even in his physical prime.
