>>13976974Ever since the 80s the WWF brand is so big that every casual normie views pro wrestling as "That WWF thing" even when Nitro was beating Raw it was still viewed by a lot as "That WWF thing, but a competing company" WCW/TNA etc wrestlers talk about a normie vaguely recognize them as "You that WWF/E guy"
So here's AEW, with money and a good TV deal, why on earth would you dilute your brand by bringing in ROH and mixing it in with AEW. ROH had no value for years as the last decade the only buzz they got was bringing in New Japan guys. It add nothing, and make it worse you risk confusing or clouding the AEW name. It still baffles me
