If he wants to go flip somewhere where he can get by being as uninteresting as a persona just by flipping in front of half empty arenas before his inevitable sawdust by own stupidity or colleagues incompetence then he is free to do so.
His value is that his athleticism is phenomenal and with a competent opponent he can put on a good match, as seen with Logan or Dragunov for example, but he ain't a tv star.
Hope he loves flipping in TNA, AEW, NPJW or wherever he lands - fact is that on WWE tv is a permamidcarder like Shinsuke because he either doesn't have the passion, wit or sense to become a on screen character to make people care why he flips. Compare that Jey Uso who by all accounts an average superkick merchant but the crowd loves him for his personality and shit he does outside of between the bell rings.
