i've never been sure as to when all shoot elements were eliminated and wrestling just became a full on work.
i know the origin story of carnies after the civil war rigging fights, but were catch wrestling matches by the turn of the century in europe totally predetermined too? and all those famous old guys you always hear about, karl gotch and lou thesz and jim londos, did they actually wrestle in legitimate competitions or were they just working it too?
anyway my money is on winzer. he has aura. and it's in the name. "win" zer.
