This would only appeal to hardcore aew fans . There is a portion of the audience who have no idea who these guys are. Lots of them bleed over from WWE thanks to Jericho, Mox, Bryan and Punk . I believe this is another reason Tony signs so many ex WWE shitters because they were on a global platform. New Japan doesn’t do the numbers AEW does in America, hell globally . Unfortunately we all know Tony wants this more then New Japan wants it.
