Thank you for the Shizuoka!
The feeling of fighting alongside Ito-san as a tag team.
The moment I met Ito-san.
As a professional wrestler, I’ve reflected on my current feelings and put them together in order to grow stronger moving forward.
It all started when my wrestling-loving dad recommended some wrestlers to me, and that’s how I came to know Miu Watanabe-san and fell in love with Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling.
As I kept watching Tokyo Joshi and grew to love it more and more, among the recommended wrestlers was Ito-san, and even though she lost matches, her unyielding mic work was shocking to me as a middle schooler at the time.
I thought her incredible mental strength, her unique worldview, and her ability to captivate people were so cool.
As I debuted as a professional wrestler and fought or teamed up with others, I came to understand more deeply how amazing Ito-san is, doing so many things I couldn’t do, and I started wanting to know more and learn from her.
When we faced each other in a singles match last week, I went into it wanting to convey the feelings I had for Ito-san.
And then, the following week, when the card was announced that we’d be teaming up, she said she’d give me a chance as part of the Ito Respect Corps, and I was so surprised.
But at the same time, I was thrilled, thinking that maybe I’d left some kind of mark on her.
At the Shizuoka tournament, I got to team up as part of the Ito Respect Corps (tentative)
and we made our entrance to “Setsunairo.”
