I'd say his current gimmick and look is a great improvement, I actually care more about his matches versus say 2019 SANADA but he still feels like a foot note. They haven't done much to establish him as a proper champion. Feels like he won it, was kinda around and.. oh Naito won the G1. Unironically Shota, Ren, Tsuji have gotten more interest from me this year than SANADA has and that's sad.
