Also, much like AEW fans popping for Okada, people like to pretend they know more about wrestling than they actually do. This is the only website where people brag about how ignorant they are. Among normal wrestling fans, people like to act like they have encyclopedic knowledge of wrestling. RVD was the ECW guy, and even if he hadn't seen him before ECW was cool and so he was cool.
