Kiwi Whites problem always was that never learned to promo right. He could not promo at home in front of a mirror, or in Japan or in AEW. He got by doing local indy shit well that was enough for him to get in Japan, in Japan he got by doing japanese match style shit well and being hard carried by subtitles and translators but when he came to America he lacked the ability to hold the mic even on a bingo hall level and further hampered by his kiwi accent.
Last clip I saw him was that Billy Gunn home invasion and it's clear that someone tried to teach him but it's still pretty mid even at it's best. I got nothing against him, so I hope he really takes some beginner promo classes and keeps working on it.
Secondly his entire presentation package is fundamentally bingohall - japanese clapping hall, all the way from his character gimmick being ???, a fancy name?, and his theme being that terribly mixed violin shit that doesn't sound good with a crowd or an empty arena
