If he stays in AEW he's gonna be stuck in dimeless programs with The Elite while AEW bleeds more viewers and more money. He'll have the occasional singles sawdusting match to prove that he can still go
If he goes to WWE he's gonna lose the goodwill of the smarks he cares so much about and I don't think his body can handle the WWE schedule after the mileage he's put his body through. Also Kenny can't really cut promos so unless they're hellbent on pushing him he's not gonna be a top guy
