I wonder why they didn't just kill him? Surely that would have been easier? I mean they killed 6 million. Just seems like a lot of effort to keep someone alive that long when they had kill around 3-4 jews per minutes AND dispose of the bodies across several years AND organize, manage and keep track of all this stuff on top of fighting a literal world war... I mean, it's asking a lot.
