It's just a thing that keeps happening and people turn off from watching the same thing happening over and over again. It's lost it's appeal because it didn't have good fundamentals to back it up: You know the next Chevy Malibu is gonna have the same color and crash the same way and you don't care about people involved, they are just NPC's that stuff happens to.
Same way you know that when watching AEW, Mox is gonna come out do some dumb shit that he thinks looks badass and tough and get caught blading on camera again. You'd be more willing to look away from mistakes if you'd care why Mox wants to have the belt for example, but he's seemingly there just to have another crash
